I like that the "decision-makers" knew adding WSU was the way to go...even with limited information/campus visits.

Also, the idea of "getting closer" to a P5 basketball challenge is ensuring.

it's interesting that wsu returns their mvc championship team intact. so it's mvc vs aac champions, in essence.

i'm sure plenty of people doubt wichita state for that.

I think that we are going to see many, many good years for the Merican Conference. Hopefully, Aresco can negotiate another good TV package. I think basketball is definitely on an upward trend for the next few years with potentially 5, 6 or even 7 teams getting NCAA consideration (WSU, UConn, Cincy, SMU, Temple, UCF, and MAYBE Houston and/or Memphis). I'm not saying that we will get that many every year, but several from that pool every year.

The harsh reality in the difference in thinking in the American and our former conference lies in the thinking that schools should be mandated as to how strong a ooc schedule should be played. If a few teams fail to schedule well it affects the WHOLE conference. Thank God there are people that are in charge in the American that realize this.
