    IBA only seats 15K, actually.

      I like IBA.

Come on Aresco we will show you a good time.
Why walk somebody in baseball when you can hit them?

At yesterday's KC alumni event, Marshall stated that he went to some AAC meetings in Miami recently, and was told that, after the currently-planned AAC Tournament sites have run their course, the AAC Tournament will move to Oklahoma City for a few years.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

The only planned site is Orlando for next season correct? OKC in 2019 would be fantastic.

The key words are WILL and FOR A FEW YEARS. If true, that's spectacular. Would love to see my current city crawling with people in Black and Yellow. Got a hint of it last year against OU.

An SMU/WSU final - or actually any game between the two in OKC - would be crazy good. It's a true neutral site, unlike Ft. Worth.

Marshall threw out 7,000 as the number of WSU fans that would show up in OKC. I think that number is low. Easier travel and better games would probably bump the "stay in a hotel for the tourney" crowd from the 6,000 who did that in St. Louis. That would probably make the 7,000 number. I think there would be several thousand who would commute for a game or 3.

If Aresco wants a good TV package, put the tourney in OKC. The cameras and crowd mics would love the WSU games.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

I'd happily fly into OKC for the American tourney. Haven't been there in years and don't really care about sight seeing or night life (those days are far behind me), I'm there for the basketball. And my brother could easily make the drive to OKC from Wellington to meet me easier than the drive to St. Louis. As a couple of old farts, any drive more than three or four hours is problematic!

Isn't Orlando 18 and back to Connecticut for 19 so OKC projected for 20?

Connecticut hasn't been mentioned at all after a poor tourney showing last March. Tulsa has been mentioned in the past for 2019, Ok. City, and maybe Memphis but I'm not sure if Memphis has officially been mentioned for 2019.

@Bluzrover: & @WstateU: I assume by "old farts" you mean someone in their mid-40's
