  • Marshall Auction - A Derby Day Tradition

I believe this is auction #11.

I understand there are a couple of unique auction items including a framed collage of uniforms, signed, featuring the starting 5 at the Final Four. All game worn but not the actual Final Four unis.

Should fetch a princely sum if you ask me.

Personally this interferes with the run for the roses, so I wish you all the best! Happy bidding!

The Mrs and I will be there. Always a great time. I'm not in Dr's income bracket, so will have to add some smaller items to my collection.

I assume Koch bought it. After all, I've been told repeatedly he's the only reason the program has any funds.

Doesn't a foursome cost around $1200 for the golf tournament?

Anyone that was able to make it, would be great to post the highlights. In particular I'd be curious to hear how much the road game packages where you travel and stay with the team went for. I assume that kind of thing is along the lines of 'if you have to ask, you can't afford it', but hey you miss every shot you don't take right?

I thought it was more like $1600, $400 pp but maybe there was a "break" for an entire foursome

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

One for Baylor went for around $9K (let the second person match for that price too)

One for the AAC game went for $16K or so

The live auction can sometimes be a bit ho hum. But this was fun to watch. Standing ovation for the high bidder after this one. Pretty cool. HCGM hustled over to congratulate and thank the fine fella.
