  • 2017 End of Season Celebration

Has anyone heard when they're going to have this? I haven't seen anything in the paper or on goshockers.com.

Have been wondering the same thing myself. Last year it was announced April 7 and held April 16, so I wonder if there won't be one this year. Maybe they're just holding off until they get the Valley logos removed? 😀

Would doubt they are having it. Two coaches left within a week and two players have transferred out, so it would probably be tough to have it at this point.

Yep, I'd say coaches are out recruiting and don't have time for a celebration... just too much work to do. There's a lot of 'shaving' going on.

They aren't having a public celebration this year, unfortunately. The team is just holding a private one. I think numbers dwindling over the last couple years played a factor. I was really looking forward to it and wanted to see Zach and JR one more time along with the rest of the guys. It was always a nice recap of the season.

I doubt you will have to ask for one.

More evidence that Paul reads SN.

He's flat out confirmed it before. He made a joke on Twitter a while ago about the time when half of SN gave up on Malcolm Armstead midway through the FF year

Wichita State Post-Season Banquet Award Winners as selected by the WSU coaches.

Landry Shamet honored as the team's MVP.

Not any surprises. Maybe Shaq getting the Ralph Miller Captain's Award.
