My favorite part of the IBA games is being able to have a beer or two during the game.

I have often wondered how much revenue WSU is missing out on by not selling beer at CKA.
Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.

I'd hate to abandon our wonderful campus for basketball games, but playing downtown at IBA is kinda fun.
They would need to do something about the arena license tickets, or what ever you call it, if they're going to do more than 1 game a year or start making a number of home games at IBA. Those are people that are supporting the arena, not WSU. I'm sure many also do support WSU, but does WSU get as much revenue from those seats as they would if they were sold first to the WSU season ticketholders?

Yes, I'm complaining about that 1st year fiasco. Our seating at CKA is near the top of the lower bowl across from the end line. That first game at IBA, we were placed in the upper bowl, half to 2/3s rows up in that section with only a slightly better angle. Yea, after 30+ years of support to WSU, I was a little peeved.

This is exactly why I prefer the games at UCONN's XL Center vs on-campus at Gampel (in addition to being a closer commute). Cheers!

My least favorite part about games at IBA is the legroom... You're in trouble if you are over 5'5.

Not if you stand for the whole game.

Every place I have sat in IBA has more leg room than my row at CKA.

There is a big difference in leg room at CKA between the lower-bowl seating (especially the sections between the baselines) and the chairback seating in the upper bowl. OTOH, those seats don't have as much rise so if you are shorter and have taller fans in front of you it can be a bit of a challenge as well. But most of us figure it out and make it work.

To be fair, the season ticket holders provide a lot of dough to the department. They have a little say in the game. Cracking on them and their $$$ probably isn't a wise idea.

Yes they do and I'm glad they are able to do that. On the same note not everyone is able to afford season tickets led alone the saso donation. So a game or even two that gives those fans a chance to see them live isn't a bad thing. But I've read plenty of grumblings from the season ticket folks on playing and seating at intrust.

I'm an out of towner so I don't have that much game financially in the system but support them as best I can from affar.
