To be honest, I would take a season ticket package that included just 10 games, with 5 of the 10 vs NCAA or NIT level competition, over the 16 game package of duds that I received this past season.

Time for some Koch arena excitement with close games vs actual competition. I can't wait!

If they have to do this, will it open up the discussion of expanding CKA to allow for more seating? Or a permanent move to IBA if demand remains high.

I'd hate to abandon our wonderful campus for basketball games, but playing downtown at IBA is kinda fun.

On the topic of Baylor basketball, everybody should check out the documentary Disgraced that is on Showtime. It's about the 2003 murder of Baylor University men’s basketball star Patrick Dennehy. Worth the watch.

I suspect that I am in the minority but I would rather watch games in Koch/the Round House. Regardless of where the Shocks are playing, we will be there but I absolutely hate having to travel down Intrust to buy tickets or fight computer traffic as a season ticket holder.

I like the environment at Koch much better as well. Most of us understand that sometimes WSU has to use Intrust as a way to get a particular game scheduled. As long as it is only one time a year, I don't have a problem with it.

As a long time season ticket holder I would be ok with an additional game downtown. I actually really like it to mix it up and also to get another 5k in the door who don't get to go to most games. If we keep trending up, the current season ticket holders have a lock on seeing the Shox in person.

As long as I still get some good games for CKA, and priority seating for the IBA games, I'm ok with it too. CKA games are fun but IBA games just have a "bigger" feel. It's an event feel.

I'd like the ink to dry on my last contribution check before you all start spending the next one.

Btw: I don't consider last year's home schedule to be full of duds, the $$ from the few game tickets I sold easily paid for the whole season.

I'll join your minority. I wouldn't mind playing a few games in IBA since we will have teams like UCONN, Cincy and SMU coming into Koch, but some talking about permanently moving to IBA? Uhm, no. Thankfully that has no chance of happening.

I’m OK with a couple of Saturday afternoon or evening games at IBA; I get to party before and after like it’s 1999.

While I somewhat agree with this statement, I think it has had much more to do with level of competition we have played at the venues. If we had Utah or OSU come to Koch, I'm sure I would have been just as stoked.

Maybe. Though some of the bigger recent games in CKA still don't have the same feel. The Arena just has that bigger feel (because it is bigger). Walking the concourses, the fact that there is alcohol. It's just a different feel.

I believe all conference games should be played in CKA. Having good conference games now will make it easier to move another game to Intrust. How much money does a game at Intrust generate for the program? Given our increased expenditures, maybe that is a prudent thing to do instead of passing the plate around the to the season ticket holders.

A h/h with Baylor is a fantastic addition. I am enjoying scheduling all these B12 schools and sticking it the two paper tigers in the state.

I would put money on the SEC schools being Mizzou and SC.

I am all for more games at Intrust. I'm obviously not a season ticket holder, but as someone who occasionally makes the trip back to town to catch a game, it's a HELLUVA lot easier and cheaper to get tickets to an Intrust game.
