Mizzou would certainly be one of the most likely. Gregg seemed to have a good relationship with Cuonzo given he brought Tennessee here.

Didn't realize we were talking about fan support-- conceded. My apologies.

I just googled their arena. I've seen it a bunch on TV, but WOW does that look a whole lot like CKA when you see it in its entirety. Anyone been? Is it as similar to CKA as it appears?

Wonder if it could be Mississippi State?

              Mizzou and SC, likely.

Don't tell the season ticket holders cause they will most likely be crying like little kids but I've now heard Marshall and Boatright say they might need to play more games in Intrust with the demand for tickets.

I would be fine with that. They have to make money.

Everyone should prepare themselves for multiple games per year at Intrust going forward. Not just one game, but 2 or even occasionally maybe more.

Any thoughts on the cost of these games being included in the season ticket package? Not necessarily seating, but a voucher to cover the cost of tickets (even if it means season ticket costs increase)?

I'll be a little peeved if I paid to watch us play Drake twice a year for years and then found myself behind John Q. Public in line for the Cincinnati game.

I'm not saying it's a terrible idea. I'm saying they need to be careful about how it's done.

I'm sure we can manage :)

                          That bodes an interesting conversation.

Does this pose as a study to see if season tickets could be sustained at IBA and/or, more importantly, set in motion plans for a new arena on campus with all the bells and whistles?

I love playing in CKA and in campus, but I could think of worse things than playing in IBA in downtown for a season or two (or on a long-term basis).

I am a season ticket holder and would be very happy to have more games at IBA. But yes there is a large contingent of whiny fans that can't handle change very well.

If we sell out IBA two or three times per year, I wonder where that would put us in average season attendance rankings.

But seriously-- Waco is a haaaard place to play, even against one of the worst X's and O's coaches in the country.
Baylor has finished no worse than 28th in KenPom over the last 5 seasons. In that time frame, they've lost 18 games at home, including 5 to teams outside the top 50. That's a lot.

I don't for one minute believe they have any sort of special home court advantage. If it is a hard game, it will be because they are a good team. The added difficulty of being on the road will be nothing more than average.
