Just because a teams fans didn't travel to a game they had 4 days to plan around doesn't mean they won't travel, at least a little, to a game they have 5 months to plan for.

iirc they had a pretty fair amount of fans in KC for the Big 12 Tournament.
Well but that would also mean we would have 14,000 WSU fans at Intrust. Still a pretty good ratio ;)

      They're a football school.

...That was ranked number one in the nation this year.

Trust me-- I think Vegas would have us favored at CKA... but let's not fool ourselves here.

Did Marshall say the series would start this year? Or would it be sometime in the future?
Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.

I think he was just talking about fan support. They will obviously/hopefully have a very good team.

Wouldn't really be fair to us to play a game on Baylor's home court, then have them come up here and play at a site where their fans can actually get tickets. But if it is at Intrust, I guess you gotta do what you gotta do to get good teams to play you.
Apparently you haven't been following the WSU scheduling model for the last 5 years.

Stick with a team you're better seasoned with, like KU.

              ... No really, deuces.

Averaging 6,800 at a 10,000+ capacity arena is hardly worth defending. Even for a b12 fan.

                      ??? They're not a football school? OK.

They average 6,800 at a 10,000 seat arena. No one is being fooled except for some people from P5 conferences who think a Valley (ex) team is a pushover. No?

                        We wish ;)

                        I bet it would be:

                        Alabama
                        LSU
                        Ole Miss
                        TX A&M
                        Vandy

                        Some combination of those.

You are aligned with almost everyone, but I have to ask if this is true?

I can't think of many big time NBA players at Baylor. I also can't imagine how hard it was to build a team post-MURDER.

How many teams have performed better over the past 5-10 years? How many coaches have had similar success at a non-basketball school at his age?

I have a friend who defends their results at every turn and these are his talking points/questions...

Yeah didn't think about them! I would be happy to see that.

Another good game to have, even if they don't come to Koch.
I expect more games per year at Intrust.... this one would make sense.
