Win Sunday and I think we're all but a mortal lock for a top 4 seed no matter what we do in Orlando.

IMO we will need a minimum of a finals appearance in Orlando to have a shot at going to Dallas instead of a far-flung destination. Winning all 3 in Orlando would pretty much lock it up.

It will be interesting to see if the committee knocks down the American seeding like years before. If that happens we could be getting shipped out west and get a 6 seed.

I agree that there is little chance it matters. Fortunately, the worst possible outcome if Shox win the tourney is they get a 4 and we are complaining they deserved a 3.

Huge difference between the 3 and 4 line though, IMO. But, so it goes. I don't like conferences playing champ games so late and expecting to be rewarded for it.

I'm gonna guess it won't matter, but if we are playing Cinci, it likely wouldn't either way and I would expect both to end up on the 3 line.

3 or 4. Really hard to feel confident that the Shox can be a lock for the top 12 at this point. Might happen, but far from a done deal regardless of how well they play in Orlando.

I imagine they'll have 2 versions of the bracket finalized heading into that game, and will simply choose Option A/B per the result. It minimizes the impact of a blowout victory/loss in that game though.

I'd bet far more likely, they just work on finalizing details the last few hours and ignore the result of the American Final (assuming it is some combo of Cincy/WSU/Houston)
