  • 99% certainty that WSU will move up from #22 to #20.

More importantly, a ton of teams in the potential 4-11 seed range loss today, so WSU’s relative stock increased significantly.

Goodness, Mama -- who knew you talked like that?

Meanwhile, second the motion -- Davis is a long-established skeptic, and it looks like nothing has changed. He's almost Palm-like.

      • Hard to justify a lot on that ballot. Nova at home loses to St John's and stays #1 and VA at home loses to VaTech and is #2? Nevada at home loses to UNLV and is at #19. Cincy wins 2 games and drops 2 spots in the top 10. WSU wins 2 games and drops all the way out while aTm and Alabama rise from the dead and get in. aTm wins 4 in a row after losing 7 of 9. Alabama has loses to UCF, Minnesota, Vandy, Georgia, and Texas.

But they beat OU so that justifies being ahead of WSU. It's all about the wins.

      • I suppose he no longer thinks the step up in competition is valid. Wow....that certainly suprises me because most every other college basketball writer is and has made a point to state that Wichita is no longer in the MVC and the competition is much more difficult. And yet here we are at 19-5 with really no "bad" losses. Weird logic...but whatever Seth.

With the 14th week of the college basketball season in the books, here’s what the AP Top 25 rankings might look like for Week 15.

                    #19 - WICHITA STATE SHOCKERS (19-5) Last Week: 22
Is anyone truly sold on Wichita State yet? The Shockers are the newest addition to the American Athletic Conference and could prove themselves with a win against Cincinnati, and they will get a chance to do that this weekend and again to end the regular season. The Shockers had no problem beating Memphis on the road and then Connecticut at home.

                    #4 - CINCINNATI BEARCATS (23-2) Last Week: 6
Cincinnati is dominating the American Athletic Conference this season, but they have yet to really beat a quality opponent. In fact, their best win this season has been at UCLA and the Bruins aren’t exactly setting the world on fire. The Bearcats blew the doors off a mediocre Central Florida team and then a decent SMU team on Sunday. They’ll likely jump a couple of spots.
