Cox 22 / Shox Basketball

I apologize up front if this has been discussed, but didn't think this should necessarily go into the media love thread either so here goes.

I also know this is a bit premature but, IF the Shockers go into the AAC what does that mean for games on Cox22? Will our beloved Shox get a better tv deal? Better ESPN / CBS exposure. Would we have more or less games on tv?

Based on the the AAC TV schedule from this year, the Shockers will be on a lot more nationally broadcast games.

My guess is we will still see a fair amount of the non-conference on Cox22, but either none or just 1 or 2 of the AAC conference season on Cox22. Perhaps the games against ECU and USF (my grad school alma mater!) might not be a strong enough draw for the ESPN/CBS side. I just want them to announce our move so I can enjoy that little bottle of 14 year old Carribbean Cask I have stashed!
