Once their quality loss to Purdue gets factored in, they'll be snugly in the Top 5.
      Deuces Valley.
      ... No really, deuces.

        1. 34-0 on Selection Sunday
        2. 1 seed in the tourney
        3. In a precedent-setting move, the Committee names Cleveland Cavaliers the 8-seed in that bracket.

        if still in the Valley

        4. Brett Barney named to Most Improved Team after averaging 12 ppg in 12 minutes/game, while only playing in blowouts.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

          (3) But will they rest all the starters?
          (4) But no 1st-Teamers, amirite?

[3] The committee also places the 1991 UNLV Runnin' Rebels as the 9 seed, just to make sure

              3. Shockernet’ers will find something to complain about, for ex.: When will the Schedule be released?, Why isn’t Shocker Madness on the weekend?, I haven’t gotten my season tickets yet!, These refs suck! When will our Radio broadcasts be brought into the 21st Century? Etc.
              4. Illinois State Head Coach, Dan Muller, will get another “teaching moment”.
              5. Next year’s “Senior Night Ceremony” will take longer than the actual game.

BONUS PREDICTION: ESPN College Game Day will return to the “Roundhouse”.
With the recent announcement of moving to the AAC, I need to make a modification to my earlier predictions:

              1. We will still have a strong aversion to “a certain” CBS Sports Writer.

              4. Head Coach Gregg Marshall will use the term Power Six (P6) to describe the AAC or the Shockers, but nobody will have the guts to complain to his face.
              5. Next year’s “Senior Night Ceremony” will take longer than the actual game.

BONUS PREDICTION: ESPN College Game Day will return to the “Roundhouse”, and the odds just got better!. :02.47-tranquillity:

I think there is a good chance there will be some improvements to all of these. Next season is going to be EXTREMELY hyped up and well planned. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't even recognize anything.

Looks like Bluzrover's prediction is no longer a dream; but a real possibility

All the above plus the bubbles will forfeit the regular season and still get a #1 seed.

Bono will sing the National Anthem in Koch on College Game Day.

Fans will be excited to think they see Ron Baker visit a game (in uniform behind the bench) but it will really be Chuck Norris with a shaved mustach and styled hair.
