We had that guy 3 years ago... and lost to... Kentucky. By 2. I wish that team would of had everyone back in '15. But if so, we probably wouldn't have been matched up against... The Chickens. It all worked out.

Gonna be hard, but it is important to get Keyser, Reaves, and Mitgaard quality minutes with so many guys splitting time.

Will be interesting to see how that works.

More 30-point beat downs will accomplish that.

Hate to bag on players, but I was pretty disappointed in Daishon Smith this year. He had his moments but he did not really improve by the end of the year, in fact I would say he declined. It will be interesting to see his role on the team with Reaves (if he doesn't RS) and the new guard coming in plus Keyser pushing for minutes.

Darrel and Daishon both did not show continuous improvement, although Darrell did a little better. Both showed poorly against Kentucky, and really did not play well in the post season. This is not unique for Juco players who often hit a wall halfway through the season to limit their improvement. Carl Hall, for one example, played well early but did not do well during the end of his junior season in the MVC and NCAA Tournaments. It will be interesting to see how much improvement they show for next year.

In the past, we needed our JUCOs to have big senior seasons. These guys have talented underclassmen breathing down their necks. They're gonna get passed by if they don't turn things around.

I predict we won't win the Valley.
                    Deuces Valley.
                    ... No really, deuces.

                      1. We go 2-1 in Maui.
                      2. We perform better overall in our non-con than we did last year.
                      3. 18-0 in the Valley is a certainty (only if we're in the Valley next year). Winning the tourny should be easy too.
                      4. Probably something like a 6 seed in the NCAA tournament.
                      5. Elite 8 appearance.

I pray to God we're not in the MVC though. I won't make AAC record predictions to please the JuJu.

I've already said pretty much the same on another thread for DS and DW.
For me, it's not about their talent level. Both could be outstanding players
                          for a number of D1 programs.......especially DW. I just don't think either
make OUR team better because neither one seems to be working WITH
the team and our offense. They both just seem to be looking for their own
offensive openings rather than the first best team mate opening. Until
that mind set changes they are not going to help us win BIG games. Yes,
both will shine from time to time against mediocre competition but every
player on our team is capable of that.

Northern Iowa? Don't let them sell you on having 5 All-Americans coming off a redshirt next season. They say that every year.

I think Louisville (ranked 8) could be very good next year, they return most of their guys.
