Vermont at Koch (same weekend after mid week to Mizzou)

(There seems to be confusion here, Vermont has a mid week at Mizzou, then coming here for travel ease)

WARDLE ON WSU LEAVING: The Bradley coach was philosophical about powerhouse Wichita State leaving the MVC for the American Athletic Conference.

“When one door closes, another one opens,” he said. “We as a program have to control what we can control and keep moving forward. The league will do a good job of making a great addition or additions. And hopefully we can play Wichita State (in a nonconference game) down the road.”

Was talking to someone attached to the Arkansas program this weekend. Apparently, there have been some talks about a possible nuetral site game with the Shox. Didn't know where and didn't say when. Did say it was not supposed to be a series. Nothing concrete. Just something to keep your eyes and ears open for.

I wouldn't mind seeing another game at the Sanford Pentagon. Remember the last time we played at that venue it was against Memphis.

CJ clearly knows our stuff and would give us a good game with a likely decent RPI. 3G might just bring him in for check and a valuable "teaching moment".

Here's an interesting theory:

What if Gregg knew that Chris wouldn't be here next year and so Gregg "promoted" Chris to make him look better for his next job?

Maybe, but I don't believe so. He knew how valuable he was to the program and knew someone else would realize that and come along and offer him a better job than he currently had. Thus, the promotion to AHC from special assistant.

Now, he probably didn't expect someone would offer him a head coaching role so quickly after the AHC, but it is what it is.
