The first thing that was obvious was our beloved Shocks were not at all playing scared or intimidated. That was no surprise to me at all. Next, neither teams were hitting shots as they can. This will change in the 2nd half. Next, it was awesome seeing Austin hit the 3 in such a big game. No surprise and he can do more of that. Next, our Defense is looking good but this must and will continue. Last but not least. Our Shocks are more of a 2nd half team. With that said, I still say we will make some adjustments at the half and find a way to win by 5 as I said in the first place. We will fight every solitary play until the final buzzer and we will not be out-hustled by these 5 stars!!!!!!! 'Now is the time for all play angry Shocks to come to the aid of our basketball team!!!!!!!!!!!'

I don't get what NBA scouts are drooling about. If these guys are 1st rounders, so is Shaq.

And the way he's doing it is all power game, not hot mid range shooting. There is a difference. He's going toe to toe and winning the battle so far.

6 fouls in the first half that were actually called. Both teams got away with a few, especially down low. It is going both ways. I love the way it is being called. Best called game of the tournament so far. I just hope they don't change in the 2nd half.

Shox make smarter decisions offensively, they've got a chance. Defense has been excellent, I'd be shocked if both teams don't open up offensively though

That is so true. So many of our missed shots were dumb shots. We had some smart shots that didn't fall -- I thought CF's shot after the deflected pass was going in. But damn - way too much stupidity early on.
