Gamecocks run was very much like WSU's in 2013. Team got hot late and outplayed/hustled their way to the Final Four. Their run cam up just short as well.

Hopefully, they can find continued success like WSU and (to a lesser extent) VCU has, and not trail off like George Mason.

I think the Valley's desire to add quality programs was pretty much displayed when they took Loyola to replace Creighton. Low travel costs for broke schools was apparently more important than quality basketball. Either that or the decent teams refused to have anything to do with the MVC.
