Thought I'd start this so those in Indy can share info on tickets/seats, food/drink recommendations, gatherings, etc. if so inclined.

Who all is making the trip? I am on the road from ICT now, just past Emporia. My group of 3 unfortunately became just me at the last minute due to illnesses. It would be great to enjoy the games with fellow Shocker fans rather than being likely surrounded by Big Blue Nation and Flyers, so if anyone ends up with a single extra ticket, please let me know!

Anyone know if there will be pep rallies or other organized festivities?

WSU's open practice is today at either 5:55 or 5:15 - I've seen conflicting reports.

"The WSU Alumni Association says the official fan hang-out will be Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery in downtown Indianapolis, about half a mile from Bankers Life Fieldhouse where the game will be played.
There is also a team send-off planned prior to the game planned for 5 p.m. Friday at the Hilton Indianapolis."

"For other events while in town, there will be a St. Patrick’s Day parade and block party in Indianapolis Friday morning.
And, should the Shockers advance to play Sunday and you remain in town, the alumni association also suggests the Shamrock Run and Walk on Saturday morning, as well as specially reduced rates on minor league hockey between the Indy Fuel and Kalamazoo Wings on Saturday night."

My parents and I are heading to Indy for the weekend. Also hoping our section has more yellow than blue or red, but if not we're just happy to be there!

I love hockey but no way am I going to a game while other tourney games are on.
