I'm fine with this thread. It cites another report that verifies what we've known. This report makes the situation look a little worse than we've been led to believe by fans of the other schools.

The MVC is in an excellent position to make a solid move to irrelevance. It's pretty obvious not many schools are going to be able to pay cost-of-attendance stipends, which means recruiting will suffer even more. Schools aren't going to be able to buy out coaching contracts, so a bad hire is going to be kept as a coach until the contract expires. That makes recruiting virtually impossible.
