It just updated. We are up to 5 ..

Not sure how we worked past Louisville today. Other than the ACC generally demonstrating they don't play defense.

The adjusted part. Louisvilles opponents played bad which adjusts them closer to average, which affects UL.

This may be a bizaare question...but is there a prototype bracket with this years' teams, automatics included, done strictly by KENPOM numbers? I'd LOVE to see what THAT bracket would look like.

The official 2025 College Men's Basketball Bracket for Division II. Includes a printable bracket and links to buy NCAA championship tickets.

FYI Augusta lost in the next game of the national tournament, Keshun Sherrill had a pretty amazing career.

Thanks for the Augusta updates. Sherrill was quite a baller.

I made one of these yesterday morning before the games started. It will not include changes from games played in the tournament. That bracket went 14/16 yesterday. It's a less dramatic bracket than you might think. Pretty chalky. Which points out something interesting: everyone is willing to believe the kenPom numbers that has 3 1 seeds and 2 2 seeds in the top 5. It's what they expect, so they believe it. But WSU at 8? Must be broken. The bracket is also uninteresting because WSUs second game comes against one of 4 teams still favored over them.

I've got one in pdf but cannot figure out how to copy and post. So far, there have been three misses, Northwestern/Vanderbilt, Xavier/Maryland & Middle Tennessee/Minnesota. Of course, they have Gonzaga winning and the others in the Final Four are Villanova, Louisville and North Carolina

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Kp had Xavier over Maryland. As did I.

You're right my bad! Xavier was 39 and Maryland was 43.

KenPom is helpful for predicting stuff correctly in the long run more often than the committee or the eye test or whatever might. Because upsets are bound to happen, I find it is most useful as a tool for evaluating upset picks.

For example, the seeds said Minnesota over MTSU should've been a slam dunk, but KP said it was much more of a toss-up, even though it still thought MN would win. Because of that, it made it a relatively good upset prediction. Your idea of a bracket with all KP predictions would be interesting for a variety of reasons, but I think it's also important to recognize that KP calling a game a toss-up is probably a "win" for advanced metrics over the typical seeding.

I filled out a bracke based on kenpom at espn if you want to know how that looks. I did it in 10 min so no promises that their weren't mistakes.
