Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

I don't know the logistics of how lowering the floor would work or the cost, but getting those seats right up to the court would be nice!
EDIT: It wouldn't be perfect, and I think they could improve upon some things TCU did, but it's an idea

I think it'd be cool to have a Shocker Madness comparable to this someday.

I think you have to weigh the gain of remodeling vs the loss(es). I'm not sure what is gained; if games are sold out, then people aren't staying home because of leg room. Most recruits are more impressed with in-game atmosphere than empty seat aesthetics. Perhaps adding seats or luxury boxes increases revenue, but to build another IBA for WSU may dilute atmosphere. Gotta be careful what you throw into the construction dumpster with a remodel.

Having a way to raise more money with luxury boxes could be a good thing. I'm not sure how much the average joe fan can continue to pay more money for tickets. They have increased 300% during the past 6-8 years. I'm not sure if most people can keep up with that rate. It could end up with only corporate people being able to afford going to games. We don't have a lot if students who consistently attend and if all we have is a lot more corporate seats, we will have even more empty seats.Last edited by shockmonster; March 9, 2017, 02:06 PM.
