I would imagine it would be more than bulbs, but a control system and wiring to effectuate that. But, I really have no clue.

I don't know the logistics of how lowering the floor would work or the cost, but getting those seats right up to the court would be nice!

EDIT: It wouldn't be perfect, and I think they could improve upon some things TCU did, but it's an idea
I'm all for adding seats closer to the court and I'd like to think there's a way to improve on how TCU did it and possibly get more on all four sides. Oh and banners! Let's consolidate all the NIT banners, separate one for NIT championship, and big sexy ones for our NCAA banners in school colors. Classy ones, not the crap the NCAA sends.

I think it'd be cool to have a Shocker Madness comparable to this someday.

Always liked what TCU and I believe Ole Miss did with its roundhouse as well. Lower the floor, square off the sides. Fans a lot closer to the court.

Goodness. Yes, that would be worth going to. I wonder how much that cost.

I'm not sure they lowered the court, but possibly cut back and decreased the angle of the 5 side sections so they fit in more "floor" seats.

It would be so badass if they could make intro going through the history of Shocker hoops, from Littleton to Stalworth to MTXE era to the Marshall era.

Koch is a terrific place to watch a game. Tweak it here and there and play in IBA when necessary. Gonzaga's gym is about half the size and they do OK.

I think you have to weigh the gain of remodeling vs the loss(es). I'm not sure what is gained; if games are sold out, then people aren't staying home because of leg room. Most recruits are more impressed with in-game atmosphere than empty seat aesthetics. Perhaps adding seats or luxury boxes increases revenue, but to build another IBA for WSU may dilute atmosphere. Gotta be careful what you throw into the construction dumpster with a remodel.

Having a way to raise more money with luxury boxes could be a good thing. I'm not sure how much the average joe fan can continue to pay more money for tickets. They have increased 300% during the past 6-8 years. I'm not sure if most people can keep up with that rate. It could end up with only corporate people being able to afford going to games. We don't have a lot if students who consistently attend and if all we have is a lot more corporate seats, we will have even more empty seats.
