  • The Curse Is Officially DEAD!!!!

We thought they finally lifted the curse in 2014 with the 34-0 start. That was until they sent us back to Kentucky's backyard... err.. STL two weeks later.

Now, with absolutely no chance of returning to this pain-filled memory of a city for the NCAA Tournament, I hereby announce this official decree:

"On this day, March 5, 2017, the "STL Curse" unjustly bestowed upon Wichita State, has, from this day forward, been forever lifted!!"

This was the only curse that I've ever believed in. I'm usually not very superstitious, but this was very real.

            WSU in St. Louis, 2002-2016:
3-8 in the Semi-Finals, none of the 11 games vs the conference's #1 seed.

I too do not believe in curses, but... 3-8?

Not sure that I am buying that the curse is dead. Not sure how you know for sure but perhaps the day we accept an invitation to the AAC will be the day the curse is officially Officially Dead.

See what happen when WSU finally won in STL (without having to go back and lose in the NCAA)?!?!?!

If only they had won Arch Madness sooner!!!
