I'd take a 12 any day. Only have to beat a 5 and a 4 to get to the S16.
I don't think we'll be put against KU or UK without a deep run. I expect we'll see Gonzaga fairly quickly to get one of the non-P5 threats out of the tourney. The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Gonzaga and Nova are quite a step ahead of every other team in the country according to KenPom. We are relatively close to any other 1 or 2 seed we could get. We are likely going to be heavily favored (relative to a normal 7/10 or 8/9 game) in the first round and the second round will likely be a toss up.

If you're continuing the boycott don't click, but I was starting to run out of enough college basketball stuff to keep me from going to bed:
CBS Sports is helping you get ready for March Madness with the latest news, picks, and predictions for the 2025 NCAA Basketball Tournament Bracket.
An 11 Seed in the South against SMU, Baylor as the 3 seed, UCLA as the 2. Uhm, even though I don't think we will be an 11 and I would like to avoid SMU, I would take that potential path to the Elite 8.
Maybe if we beat SMU without out any seniors, the AAC will realize they need to hurry and get us in the conference for next year.

Since I can't sleep and the majority of votes are for 6-9, here is a list of first round matchups based on the Bracket Matrix:
South Carolina, Miami, Virginia Tech, Northwestern, Arkansas, VCU, Michigan, Michigan State, Marquette, Seton Hall, Providence, Xavier, USC, Wake Forest, Middle Tennessee, Syracuse
I'll go ahead and set it at Wichita State -8 vs any of the teams listed.
And assuming we get a 7, 8, 9, or 10 seed, these will be the 1/2 seeds and the likely sites:
Villanova (Buffalo)
KU (Tulsa)
UNC (Greenville)
Gonzaga (Salt Lake City)
Oregon (Sacramento)
Kentucky (Indianapolis)
Baylor (Tulsa)
Louisville (Indianapolis)
Disclaimer: none of this really means anything because who knows what teams the committee will seed differently and who knows what might change over the next week. Just thought it might be fun to look at the possibilities which are just slightly more probable than all available options.
