I honestly had to turn it off when that guy said that

Muller was very complimentary of WSU. Said this was the best offensive shocker team he has seen and their defense is also very good. Reporters tried baiting him into complaining about the officials, but he didn't bite. Said it was big time officiating crew.

Muller said the biggest difference between now and when they beat WSU was the guard play between Shamet and Frankamp and the improvement on defense. He said WSU is much better defensive team than their first matchup.

I liked 3G's post-game comments to the sideline reporter that they had been working on some things for this game in practice for several weeks. They just didn't tell the players that is what they were doing.

Most good programs do this and I know it is something they have done in the past. They talked about this re: UNI after College Gameday

I am still not entirely convinced that the WSU defense has progressed enough to make a deep run in this NCAA tourney.

But another game or two of the opposing team's best player saying they "just didn't make shots" and I'll start to feel more comfortable that I've seen this show before and like how it ends.

Idiotic question of the tournament award goes to the Illinois has produced a ton of NBA talent guy. However, I thought 3G handled that quite well and with more patience then you might expect and sequed into what he and his staff look for in recruits and that they have no geographic limitations. He also talked about how they try to vet kids before they offer them. Best comment was when he said we are looking for kids that are over themselves.

That guy had an angle he was trying to push about all of the talent coming out of Illinois and the wheels fell off when he A) somehow thought we had a ton of Illinois players and B) assumed Peyton Allen (the writer said "Adams") was still on the team. Memories of "Boom goes the dynamite" were evoked.
