Thanks for that game and this season, Landry!

People like to gloss over it, but Lee has a serious turnover problem. But I guess being a senior makes that better? It's impressive how much he turns it over given the pace they play.

Lee would come off the bench at WSU. That's should say something.

That last line makes me giddy. The rest of this year and all of next year will be so much fun.

The great thing about Landry's most significant achievement is not only is he peaking as the tournament season is upon us, but so has Conner, Kelly, Willis, Shaq and others as well.

I think Fred and Ron are still the driving force behind the Shockers. As much as this team admired, loved and respected Fred and Ron I think they have shown great determination and shown great pride in trying to prove that they are an excellent group of basketball players in their own right who, with all due respect to Ron and Fred, can play winning basketball on their own. One of the main reasons they have done this is because they have become a Band of Brothers who figured out they properly united they are in fact greater than the sum of their parts.

In a way, Fred and Ron are still building a legacy at Wichita State.

The only reason Landry won't get MVC Player of the Year is because he'll probably get MVC Freshman or Newcomer of the Year. He should easily be on the All-MVC First Team.

He wont get Newcomer also. He's only going to get Freshman. If he's the best Player, he should get all three, but I've already seen voters go "Well Landry is the Best Freshman, So I'll give newcomer to Jackson/Johnson, and POY to Lee". Share the wealth and all.

Or he wouldn't. Both our bench guys have better A/TO ratios than he does.

I think Loyola has some nice pieces with Custer and Richardson. If the forwards they recruited for next year pan out, they could be good in a couple of years. Especially if they move Porter to Asst. Coach in charge of recruiting.

Ingram and Jackson return in their front court as seniors next year, and they got a pretty good transfer that will be a junior wing. Next year looks promising for top 100 RPI.

so the team we gnashed our teeth about replacing Creighton is likely to be our best conference foe. Don't know if that says more about Loyola or the rest of the conference?
