The last one was a problem. The others depend upon what caused the problem that necessitated a crash landing.

How in the hell does an experienced pilot accidentally misjudge a taxiway for a runway? Lighting differences, width differences, striping differences, the fact that one had a huge number at the end of it and the other did not. Seriously?

The golf course was due to engine failure. By all accounts he did a fine job there.
Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.

Time someone had "the talk" with Harrison about his keys.

The article doesn't say if it was at night or not, but that would make it far easier.

It's an even bigger mistake to make at night, with the drastic lighting differences between a runway and a taxiway. Go check out some night landings into major airports on YouTube.

Not to mention the fact that anytime you have to ask tower if that 737 is supposed to be right underneath you, there just might be something wrong. Lol

Clearly he was starstruck having recently met Gregg Marshall. Act like you've been there before Mr. Ford. Haven't you ever met a legend before?

                      Video of the incident.

SANTA ANA, Calif. (AP) — Newly released video shows a small plane piloted by Harrison Ford flying low over an airliner with 116 people aboard moments before he mistakenly landed on a taxiway at a Southern California airport.

Are we honestly going to sit here and debate about his competence as a pilot? For God's sake, he navigated a freakin' asteroid field with chances of survival at approximately 3,720 to 1!

Not to mention he made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs.

He also unknowingly landed in an exogorth.

I think it's safe to say that his record as a pilot is both impressive and reckless.
