  • Shooting efficiency

Not a typical stat that is kept but I think an important one.
I figure it by taking total field goal points divided by shot
attempts it took to get those points. Here are they are:
    AR 64% - RN 63% - LS 58% - CF 57% - DW 55%
    RK 54% - MM 54% - SM 50.6% - DS 50.5 % and ZB 49.3%

Take away what you want from these numbers but I believe
it reflects offensive efficiency in way most people don't consider

This is basically the same thing as effective FG% right?
Its a good landing if you can walk away, its a great landing if the plane can be reused the next day.

I like "True Shooting Percentage" better because it rewards players for making their free throws. By my calculations, the team looks like this:

      AR - 67.0%
      RN - 66.7%
      LS - 62.2%
      MM - 59.8%
      DW - 59.7%
      CF - 58.7%
      DS - 58.0%
      SM - 55.3%
      RK - 53.9%
      ZB - 53.6%

It's not entirely clear. Effective field goal % is calculated by taking [FGM + (.5 * 3pts made)]/FGA. That calculation for AR, for example, is 64.6%.

I'm not sure how OP got his numbers because they're not the same numbers I get when I follow the instructions. AR had 93 "field goal points" (total points minus free throws made, I assumed). He only has 72 FGA, so that puts him over 1.00.

Edit: Just take that number and divide it by 2. It's identical to EFG%, and I assume that's what he did.
