Due to recent road construction beginning on 21st Street just north of Charles Koch Arena, fans are encouraged to arrive early for upcoming Shocker events and expect dealys when arriving and exiting the facility parking lots.

Although I agree this is not the place for political posts, I believe her intent was to say that if something disruptive is going on, it would be best if it was somewhere far away from the arena, so as not to add to the difficulty of getting to the game.

Your explanation captures my understanding of Shocker Mama's post; guess I am not into the political scene as much as others.

If that qualifies as a political post now then I would say our sensitivity is too high. I'm even in the camp of people wanting to keep things in the proper forum but I wouldn't say that post was the kind that is causing problems and it was at least 30% on topic in the first place.

One liners aren't what messes up the board. It's when we go off topic for multiple posts. I could argue that me making THIS post ruins the board more than that post did. And everyone else who policed it along with me. We were the ones that took it off topic... :)
