Austin needs to add about 30 lbs of muscle to be effective driving into the trees.

Unfortunately the refs see a scrawny kid making his way to the rack and when he gets bumped or manhandled...they tend to swallow their whistes. Much like ShaQ getting mugged and no call cause he's so big. Dang it...now we got 2 irregular shaped guys not getting any love from the zebras.

Could be wrong, but I remember Freddy having the same issue as a Fr. I'm going out on a limb and calling it right now....Reaves will have as good or better rest of his Fr year than Fred had.

Another former Shocker who couldn't get a call his freshman year was Sean Ogirri.

That led to the transformation to Frogirri.

She was at the the Valley final a couple of years back. She is actually prettier in person. Nobody beats the blonde that sits behind our bench. Part of the SID staff maybe?

Just gotta ask if anyone else saw the sign that was right next to the Shockers bench that said "Frankamp has 6 grandchildren". That was a classic. So glad to see the opposing fans giving him a hard time about that instead of something else. Was funny as hell too.

The other side of that poster mentioned his DUI with the hashtag #NeverForget on it... their whole fanbase was yelling at Marshall all night long. Even Maggie shot some nasty stares at folks...

In his career here, there weren't that many opportunities for game-winning shots. He missed the Kentucky one at the buzzer, but I can't think of any others off the top of my head.

We went to him constantly at the end of the shot clock, and he constantly delivered.

I agree with you comment. What I am saying is this.

There was the Kentucky game, the MVC tournament game against Illinois State and at least a couple other games that he was unable to deliver on last second shots and as you said there weren't that many opportunities so the percentage was pretty high. In those games he tended to not look for others and only look for his shot.

Point being that even with perhaps the best point guard we have ever had, it was not always perfect. Sometimes it is just a position that just lends itself to imperfection.

I don't have a single doubt in my body that Fred would have passed the ball if any one was open and not just standing there like some of them are still doing this season as well.

Fred brought us back, nearly single-handedly, when down by 19 or 21 at MSU with 10 minutes left. This was during our undefeated season.
