Frigid shooting by some key Shocks in the 1st half. This happened to us last year at Normal too. Also, we were force feeding telegraphed passes inside that were easily stolen. The birds hit a few too many wide open corner shots. With all of this said, look for MM, Shamet, and company to start hitting shots they usually make in the 2nd half. No reason we can't still win this one if we settle down and play Shocker basketball.

Lol spin it how you want, but sometimes coaches need to call TOs during a big run to kill momentum and to teach and tell the young kids how to deal with pressure.

ISU is making shots WSU is missing.

ISU is being the aggressor and getting the benefit of call/no calls. Usually the case when your team is getting beat lol.

Oh yeah, still winnable for sure. Not like we are playing Baylor, UCLA or some other top team. It's freaking Illinois St. Not real worried either way. We will be ok

I agree. I'm all for letting kids try and play through stuff, but they've shown time and time again this year they can't and it always gets worse before it gets better. Plus, what did we get for banking that 4th TO? There's literally no reason not to use that TO with under 3 minutes left in the half. Now it might not have made a difference, but there's no reason not to use a time out when your team hasn't scoredin like 5 minutes.
