The only sure-shot is WSU > LUC, and the other Wednesday games should be a complete free-for-all. Alright, looking forward to what looks to be a wild hoops night across the Valley...YES! :)
The smart thing would probably to be to go with a strong analytical system like KenPom. But that kind of takes all the fun out of it for me. I enjoy screwing up with my own weird picks, logic and gut feelings. Even the strongest analytics could still struggle picking this year's Valley. Pretty unpredictable so far outside of WSU and ILS.
You can tell where this has gotten me, but I continue to do it.
It appears that losing Roussseau has hurt MSU, yet SIU seems unaffected (maybe improved) after losing Fletcher. Given these games, I would have gone with MSU for 3, but dropping them to 2 without one of their key players. I do think losing Fletcher will affect SIU against much better teams like Il St, so I'll go 2 for Il ST and not 1. If ISUb and UNI were at home this would be a much easier pick. ISUb looks like a total mess, so I'll go with DU. Can UNI lose another straight game? Guess I'll go down with the ship thinkin' they gotta win sometime.

Yeah, I think UNI could lose their 7th straight especially if Jeremy Morgan is unable to go or is seriously limited by his ankle sprain. That said I am sticking by my UNI pick as well which should make Bradley fans happy.
