I checked and Hamilton, Nurger, Frankamp, Brown, and Shamet was in there. That's 2 by my watch. Not to mention that our bench logged more combined minutes than our starters. We had 16 guys play and had walk-ons in there with 4 minutes left. What did he want us to do? Play the mangers and waterboys?

How about this? Stop sucking so bad to where you aren't worried about opposing teams playing any starters with 5 minutes left while your team is down 40 (again).
I don't think our starting five was on the floor together after the 1st subs of the game. Typical crank tornado bs.

Eff 'em! When we play in Peoria, Marshall should start Simon, Bush, Barney, Hamilton, and Keyser, pull them one minute in, and score 175 on the bastards!

Not to mention that 3G called a time out with 4:45 remaining just to stop the clock so he could sub in JR, CJ and Austin.

Shocker starters scored 52 points in a combined 97 minutes. Shocker bench scored 48 points in 103 minutes of PT.

I guess the other Valley teams haven't yet realized that our bench is often better than our starters. They should be glad if our starters are still in the game.

From what I have read on the MVCFans web site the consensus seems to that Illinois State and Missouri State have the deepest teams this year.

Well done Wichita State! That was a special moment yesterday honoring Cleo Littleton before tipoff; thankfully I'm old and always carry a hanky. If someone could post the photo of him receiving the All-College trophy, it would be much appreciated. I love how coach Marshall honors the past. Cleo is one of the finest people I've ever known.

That all depends on what is meant by depth. MSU has 11 players at 10 minutes +, Ill St has 9 players at 10 minutes +, and WSU has 10 players at 13 minutes +.

MSU leading mpg are at 33, 27, 27,23 and the top 7 average 23.7 per game.

                Il St leading mpg are at 31, 28, 27, 26, 25, 24 and top 6 average 26.9 per game.

                WSU leading mpg are at 24, 23, 21, 21, 20 and top 6 average 21.2 per game.

                Added:

Miller at MSU has played 30+ minutes 11 times, Johnson 8 times, and Rousseau 6 times.

Paris at Il St has played 30+ minutes 9 times, McIntosh 7 times, and Hawkins 5 times.

No one at WSU has played more than 3 games 30+ minutes and has 7 different players playing a total of 13 games 30+ minutes.

...but, but 1-12? I know I heard that somewhere before. Our last 5 on the bench could probably avoid the Thursday play-in game. Come on AAC.

I actually think this could be true. If we had been forced to start John Robert Simon, CJ Keyser, Zach Bush, Eric Hamilton and Brett Barney since November, they would be an okay team. They wouldn't be a contender, but they wouldn't be terrible either and if they were allowed to play together a significant amount of important minutes, they wouldn't look as bad as they sometimes do in the mop up minutes

I think that may be a bit of a stretch.

Last 5 scholarship players would be JR Simon, CJ Keyser, Eric Hamilton, Austin Reaves and Rauno Nurger. These guys could avoid Thursday night.

                              If fouls were unlimited.

I liked the comment on one of the Bradley boards to the effect that WSU had not stopped recruiting to allow everyone else to catch up. True that.
