I was thinking Loyola could possibly fight for the 2nd or 3rd spot in the Valley. I know I feel pretty stupid about it.

That's going to hurt their at large chances. Probably at least have to split with WSU now.

A week ago I was struggling to come up with a 4th Thursday team.....kind of having a tough time coming up with teams that shouldn't play on Thursday right now.

You betcha. They'll shoot 20 3's against WSU, win a few games in a row, and UNI fans will be proclaiming AT LARGE.

That said, you could kinda see this coming. Arizona State wasn't any good, OU is proving to be not very good. UNI fans got hyped up after those wins and then the bottom dropped out in all of their other games. They haven't even been competitive against good competition. If it wasn't for MSU's prevent offense, they would've got ran out of their own gym against MSU.

Simply put. When an offense is put together only to jack up random 3's, it's all gonna matter if they go down or not. And lately, they've been putrid shooting the ball.

I really dispise Evansville. I'm not sure if it's the fact that they're a Friends U type of school that pretends to play D1 sports, their asinine mascot, or the fact the school itself is so poorly capitalized they have a freaking cell tower on the most prominent hall on campus.

Bleh...

They perfectly epitomize and embody the MVC devolution of the last 30 or 40 years.

Then Drake reverted to D+ mode....13-0 ugly dawg run to end the half and SIU leads 37-32.
