This is the way this team needs to play, play good D, let the guards fire 3's, find the hot hands and ride them, dump down to the bigs for easy ones on perimeter overplay.

McDuffie was working on a double-double also... points and turnovers.

In fairness, he had a solid game with 17 points, 7 boards and 5 steals and played solid defense.

McDuffie is starting to remind of Cle. He needs to drive past his man instead of about 1/3 of the threes he takes.

After you posted that, McDuffie demonstrated a couple of times why that isn't working for him. It seems to make him run to the other end of the court real fast.

We rained down 3's on the Jacks at a rate to tie a record led by 6 by #11. When CF hustles like tonight, putting the ball in the hole and around 4 assists, he is a solid asset for us. I like all 4 of our guards and don't mind when we play 3 at a time. The Jacks played lots of tradition zones and the more they begged us to shoot 3's, the more we made in our barn where we win most games we play.

It does not bother me 1 iota when Brown, MM, and Willis are all on the floor together.

i really liked the starting lineup we had tonight.

Glad to see CF drive a couple of times. He had a couple drives against OSU too. Hopefully he keeps up his aggression.

Hopefully this game was able to build up some confidence for LS on the offensive side of things.

RK with the most RK breakaway deep ever. That guy plays so well off the ball, but put it in his hands in the middle of the court and I cover my eyes.

To say nothing of 2' from the basket. :bball_spin: I kid. I kid.

Actual injury (bruised thigh). Marshall thought Morris was maybe exaggerating the injury a bit - he got hurt before the OU game, and it got worse that game. Medical exam showed it was an injury that should keep him out of the game.

Maybe shouldn't have played against OSU.

We still need drive the gaps more. Not necessarily all the way to the basket but to draw and dish.
Having said that, some of the guys seem to make up their minds to drive when there is absolutely nothing.
Daishon's defense was horrible. He turned a non-scorer into a scorer with his juco gambles.
Thought some of the lighter guys did decent jobs on heavier guys. Nice adjustment to bring double teams from the guards in the second half.
The most consistent player right now is DW.
