I, for one, did think that Morris had something wrong with his leg. I noticed it, in particular, on the first half play where he "didn't get back". We had a good, close view and he was definitely favoring one leg over the other. Person sitting next to me, that I didn't know, agreed. I also thought he was hobbled before that.

Morris played 30 against both Louisville and OU, and 21 minutes against CSU (where he was in some foul trouble). I'm not sure I totally understand why some think of him this year as a slacker based on this year's performances. Many games, he simply did not need to play much (like Nazarene, 15 points in 14 minutes) or he was in early foul trouble (however, he was consistently in foul trouble early in the season, but, again, did not need to play much due to the score).

People seem to forget that Shaq was injured previously and they wasn't sure he was going to be able to play for the Oklahoma game. But he played. Before that he was hustling up and down the floor.

Coach pretty much admitted that him and the coaches may have scared the team in preparation for the cowboys. Some times you can over hype the opponent and your team is mentally beat before they get on the floor. I've seen it before.

Leg injury may keep Wichita State’s Shaq Morris from South Dakota State game http://www.kansas.com/sports/college/wichita-state/article122313449.html
