I was under the impression that I would be able to pick up the OK State game on my Apple TV without any cable provider info. I keep getting an error message saying that the channel isn't provided in my TV package. I typically go out to watch games because I don't have a tv package. Any helpful advice??

All depends on your provider. For example, we live out of state and our Internet provider gives us ESPN3 free of charge and we get anything not being broadcast live on one of the "networks" (espn, 2, U, news, etc.). Guessing if the game is available on some channel you "could" subscribe to but don't, even if you have no TV package, you're getting blocked out.

Ive used a VPN like hotspot shield in the past. Its free bt I paid $15 for a year subscription so I can set my location anywhere in the world and never face blackouts. I also use my parents login info for their cox subscription. Works out nicely
