  • Paul's List of Dunks

    Suellentrop's partial list.

Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

The only one missing that I can think of that is fairly recent is David Kyle's ally oop dunk against Washington State in the NIT semifinals.

I will always remember AC stuffing the ball and Johnny Crawford in New Orleans.

            Me too.

"Jumping" J. Crawford was also lucky that that right cross that AC threw after that dunk missed. :GB_bonesrock:

And imagine if Tekele would have landed that one against KU. The one he got fouled hard on so he didn't complete the dunk, but still got the ball to bounce around and fall in for the and-1.

This is my favorite dunk. One reason is, I was sitting front row on that baseline during that game. When TC turned that corner, I saw nothing but fire and anger in his eyes.

I think Jamar and Duke had a number of very exciting dunks...

The half-court alley-oop from Matt Braeuer to PJ Couisnard comes to mind.

I seem to recall another one of those . . . Craig Steven to Jamie Sowers, perhaps?

                        Was Duke's in the pre-game?

The half-court sideline alley-oop out of bounds play to Darrin Williams against SMU in the first game of the Randy era was also pretty badass.

Because that punk ass Goodwin blocked Wessel's shot on the previous possession and made a show of it afterwards, shaking his head and mocking Evan's attempt. For a regular block with a 5 inch height differential, it was a b!tch made move.

I don't have any inside information, but I like to think that Tekele cranking back and giving him a Yo Mama was the response.

It still doesn't hold a candle to the one at Illy State - which is still the best to me - but it was the best retribution dunk I can remember.

Then again, I never saw Jabali and I think he could be the greatest. If I ever caddy for the Dalai Lama and he offers me a choice between total consciousness and a chance to watch those highlights I've got some thinking to do....

Cotton was always the best against ISUr. A foot to the face and pennies zinging at his head must have made him mad.
