I also would like to point out if Coach Marshall gave up on shooters as quick as some on this board, we wouldn't have gotten Joe Ragland's senior year, 56.8%/50.4%/81.4%. Connor is still about a game short of completing his first full season in a Shocker jersey, I'm no where near ready to give up yet.

Not to mention that he is playing ~22min per game and is averaging less than one turnover. That is exceptional for a point guard.

For all of the talk about Conner, and I'll admit I've been disappointed in the "lack of accuracy" at times, this team is much better with him than it would be without him.

Remember the broadcasters comments after CF hit his second three?
Something to the effect that Kruger had drilled his team on NOT
leaving CF open so opposing coaches are well aware of the danger.
Could it be that teams are focused on making sure CF doesn't get
an open look and that is creating better spacing and opportunities
for the others to get better looks? Sometimes a players value can't
be measured in a tangible way.

Excellent point. Just like a quality big man that must be doubled turns an average 30% 3 point shooter into a killer of a 40% 3 shooter because they are all wide open and unguarded.

Or perhaps no one is supposed to stay more than 1ft from him because he is not a threat to beat them off the dribble.

I don't intend to be on a Frankamp haterz list. I'm not. He's a good backup PG that's going to help this team win. But it is tiresome continually seeing "just wait til he starts shooting like we all know he can." He's a redshirt junior; at some point it is what it is. And while potential may not have ever won a game, developing potential in November and December has certainly won games in March.
