What? The perfect Defensive Shocker storm in the 1st half only allowing 9 points. Scoring on the Shocks in the 1st half was as hard as pulling hens teeth. That was the best game I have seen Kelly play. Shocks are now 8-4 and have won 4 in a row and rebounded like rock stars. St Louis did shoot the rock better in the 2nd half and will have an improved squad next Season IMO. We witnessed some nice team work tonight too. 75-45 for the 30 point surpass.

Rashard got few minutes and did little with them in Ft. Collins. Tonight he was solid, got his minutes and used them well. Good for him.

Some of the passes we make just leave me shaking my head.

So many offensive weapons.

Would like to see us punish teams that press us.

There are times Darral looks for a pass when a quick, short jumper might be the better choice. It's almost like he's trying to be the good teammate rather than look selfish. I think he'll figure this out.

Would still like to see more penetration by the guards. Landry does more than the others but Daishon and Austin sometimes pass up opportunities.

Shaq solid again. I have no problem with his foul defending their two on one fast break.

shaq got called for some bone head fouls that were not his fault.

Dude is cursed .

Conner looked bad when he played.

Kelly and Brown both played well in the 2nd half.

Nurger was okay, Willis I thought was really decent to good the whole game.

Smith is a better PG than Conner and shooting better.

Seems like the Shocks and the crowd became somewhat disinterested in the game in the 2nd half. I suppose it is tough to maintain your focus after holding a team to 9 points.

Far from a perfect performance by the Shocks but plenty good enough against this opponent. I think 3G may have been doing some experimentation on some things in the 2nd half.

Good for Rashard. The kid definitely plays hard. Told my grandson at halftime that I thought Rashard would be the player of the game.

Shocker starters 30 points and 19 rebounds. Shocker bench 45 points and 27 rebounds. Yeah, starting may not be all it is cracked up to be at least on this Shocker team. Guys may start lobbying 3G to let them come off the bench please.

I dunno. It just seems like the crowds keep getting worse and worse. The student section was predictably pathetic. But the energy in that place just sucks. And I'm not talking about 20 minutes into a 30 point blowout. Even before the game, everybody's just kinda sitting on their hands. Blah. I guess having about 2000 no shows will quiet things down too.

As for the game, it sucks this was our preparation game before OU. This team might not win 7 games this year. Our defense was solid but they just flat out missed shots. Unathletic as hell and just plain bad.

It was nice to see the refs let em play, but there were several no-call mugging SLU inflicted on WSU. Game seemed to lack flow and we make some STUPID turnovers at times.

But the game was decided about 5 minutes in, so I understand the sharpness tends to wear off. Willis is a beast. Period. Reaves is a stud. Period. Kelly had a nice game. Good for him. I hope he doesn't let it go to his head because OU is no SLU.

any word on Shaq's injury? He clearly didn't feel good in the 2nd half when they called the injury timeout and he walked slowly off the court.

Did he come back in after that?

Ten games in, wins or loses, blow outs or not, we have yet to be outscored in the second half.

Shaq got hit in the no-no place. He did a pretty good job of grabbing his knee instead. I assume he'll be fine.
