Good win and a much better 2nd half.

They stuck more to basics and it paid off in their widening their lead as the game went on.

Of course it didn't hurt matters that their shooting improved greatly as well.

This was a much needed win. I'm taking winning the second halves against Louisville, Michigan State and Colorado State as goodness.

It was a good shooting night. it's frustrating that we had many of the same shots in the Bahamas and couldn't put them down.

We did make some very silly turnovers. Hopefully that gets better.

We need to figure out that when somebody gets hot from three we need to be up in their grill. I'm talking to you Landry.

All but two games over 80 is impressive.

Darral, please block out better and forget the three foot passes in traffic.

A couple bad plays but I give Austin credit for playing fearless.

It was good to see Shaq and Zach have good games today, we need that from our upperclassmen. Shaq has all the ability in the world if he can just stay on the floor. That 4 foul on him was real questionable. Landry looked good shooting the ball today, I think it's just a matter of him getting more games behind him. Smith, Mcduffie had very good second halfs and Conner hit a few, we need him to get his grove going. Reeves looks so comfortable out there it's crazy. Proud of the guys, our depth showed up tonight.

Good solid road win. Great to see Zach and Shaq reacting like men and stepping up to the plate.

So glad Austin was able to play. The kid is fearless. CSU had just rallied to tie the game at 57 with just under 9 minutes to play. CSU has the momentum. Shaq jacks a 3-ball and misses. An Oh-Oh moment until Austin grabs the rebound knocks down a trey. The Shocks did not trail again in the game. 2 minutes later Austin dumps a pass to Zach on a fast break for the hoop and the harm. At tht point the Shocks were up 68-59. I just really love what Austin brings to the table.

Darral and Daishon had some juco moments but those will begin to fade away over time.


I suppose you always look good when you shoot good and 13-27 from long distance certainly qualifies as shooting good. But with the way the game was being called it almost became a necessity in order towin the game. So the Shocks did what they had to do.

Is the way CSU is playing the game really what the NCAA had in mind in trying to improve freedom of movement? I hope not.
