Pregame analysis and predictions of the Louisville Cardinals vs. Wichita State Shockers NCAAM game to be played on November 24, 2016 on ESPN.
"Despite its 68-62 overtime win over Old Dominion ending after midnight early Thursday, No. 10 Louisville won't get any extra time to prepare for a showdown against Wichita State at 2:30 p.m. ET on Thursday (ESPN) in the Battle 4 Atlantis at Paradise Island, Bahamas.
The Cardinals (4-0) will need to fit in showers, sleep, breakfast, team meetings and lunch before they return to the court 13 hours later vs. the feisty Shockers.
"We won't make any excuses," Louisville coach Rick Pitino said. "We'll just have to adjust on the fly and see what happens. But we have no prep time...."
Sounds like Louisville anticipated they would be playing the Shocks saying the have watched a lot of video on the Shocks in preparation for the Tournament so I don't think the lack of prep time will be a significant factor.Last edited by 1972Shocker; November 24, 2016, 09:58 AM.

Game preview, keys to victory, I definitely talk short turn around, and WSU finally being on the better end of the deal.

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

I've been cautiously optimistic this season, but with every game these fellas seem to ease any doubts and concerns one would have after losing two legends to the NBA. Today is the biggest test yet this season against one of the best teams and coaches in the game. We too have one of the best teams with the best coach IMO. The Cards got jobbed a little with the time slots due AXS/ESPN wanting to get them into the prime time slots yesterday, but hey we wouldn't know anything about that would we? Either way, I think we get a close, hard fought game. Gonna have to break out the Tums, but I believe we will be victorious. I think this will be another game where all of our guards shine today, and I think Daishon and Austin are going to catch them off guard when they enter the game.
