It's a good day for the WSU basketball program when the national pundits are now talking about the culture of success at WSU. In their minds, they are now turning from thinking of WSU as having momentary success because of Baker/VanVleet to now viewing us as a perennial basketball power. This is a huge turning point for WSU as far as how the national media will view us going forward.

I saw the shot of Gregg kneeling down beside Jans on the bench and it was pretty clear to me that they were having a discussion. Perhaps Jans can offer up which of the "equipment managers" is ready to hit the court?

I think Jans can offeer strategy suggestions to 3G but he can not do any coaching of players.

I only saw him talking to HCGM. Wonder if he ever just does that loudly. "Coach, you should have Nurger shoot some threes, just for fun." While Nurger is sitting next to him.

If MK's stats are correct Conner: 6 pts 7 assist 0 turnovers but he sucks at the point. /sarcasm -

His three assists vs UMES were all for 3-pointers. Easier passes out to a shooter.
His seven assists today resulted in 2 3-pointers, 3 jumpers and 2 layups. Much more of what I expect from a poing guard. Kudos to Conner.

I was surprised to see a 19 page game thread. That thread may have set a record for the number of times the word "frick" or some variation thereof was used.

I like the poster who said: WSU just took a knee with 5 minutes remaining in the game.

And that gets a little annoying, doesn't it? They all just assume that Marshall is yanking at the rope, can't wait to get out of Wichita, and all they have to do is make him an offer.
