Has Bob jumped on the Shocker train?

I've read and watched Bob a bit over the years. I think Bob has done a relatively good job of staying objective about both WSU and KU and their respective men's basketball teams but he does praise the KU program. And well he should. The KU program is elite. Many on here don't like to hear skepticism or, perhaps reality, about the Shockers and Bob does provide that from time to time.

But he most definitely has shown enthusiasm for the Shockers over the past three or four years, that much is true. And for good reason. The program is unlike anything it has ever been with the possible exception of those early teams.

That's why it would be nice to have him on the court for 20 to 25 minutes a game. The man has skillz.

The only thing holding us back from complete hysteria and hyperbole is the earliness of the season. And, to a lesser degree, the opponents. Do South Carolina State, Long Beach State and Tulsa provide a realistic barometer?

Covering the chickens in the tournament has provided b.l. with many good meals over the years, as is obvious to anyone. Sure he's a fan. But his harping on the insignificance of the Valley gets more than kind of tiresome.

The rally cry of all my chicken buddies, the few humble and many not so humble, is "Yeah, but they haven't played anyone so we don't know how good they really are!" The Boob is gettin' it started after 3 games. I'm sure he knows who our future non-conference opponents are going to be doesn't he? He couldn't wait to find out if were legit or not? Has he been bored watching these games (I wouldn't know because I didn't read the article)?

Side note. Last year against Tulsa Shaq played 5 minutes, Landry 4 and Markis never left the bench.
