Lol. So true. It's becoming apparent that we don't have reserves. We have 10 starters.

I have really enjoyed watching our defense the last two games. Last night for the first 10 minutes looked like two heavy weights just slugging it out to see which one flinched first. Just love watching our guys play defense. Connor when he brought the ball up and launched the long three was the way I remembered him playing. No hesitation and nothing but net. Smith is a load as evidenced by how he blew past the LB PG. What a difference each of our PGs bring to the table, Rauno didn't play with the same ferocity as he did against SCS but he had his moments. How many teams can afford to not start MM but yet bring a talent like that off the bench. Decision on starting probably decided at practice. So many offensive weapons with this group. So far this is an amazing group of young men/athletes. I'm sure HCGM won't let the accolades go to their heads.

Can someone capture the clip of Austin's sweet drive to the basket, and Connor's play where he faked one way with his back to the basked then turned and hit the J. Would love to watch those again (and again, and again...) :)

On a seperate note I really like how versatile this team is. Almost everyone (everyone?) can play multiple positions.

And that defense. It's early but we're #4 in AdjD on Kens Palms. In this case the number matches what my eyes tell me. I think we have a pretty good chance at being the best defense in the country again this year. At least according to his calculations. Add in what seems to be a team stocked with guys that can get buckets and wow...someone needs to hold me back from predicting something crazy like winning the B4A.

And we're only two games in...

It's been a day or two but Daishon reminds me of Tony Martin.

I totally agree, this is already a stifling defense, literally everyone is getting hands in the passing lanes, going for steals with double teams, etc. I have to think the other teams coaches are telling them this is the toughest D we'll see all year.

And it might be my imagination but I think I already see them working together better each game, much less miscommunication and working as one. We had some nice defensive recoveries when someone went for a steal and missed, and the other guys were ready to cover for them.
