New Hotel for MVC Tourney

According to the Arch Madness flyer included with season tickets (and confirmed by the ticket office) we have a new home hotel in St. Louis. The new hotel is the Marriott St. Louis Grand, 800 Washington Ave. I was about to make reservations at the Westin (now the home of Loyola) and luckily thought to double check.

I made my reservations Monday, $185/night for the "Shocker" block of rooms.

I made my reservations Monday, $185/night for the "Shocker" block of rooms.

If I understood correctly the "Shocker" block was gone. However, rooms are still available sans the Shocker discount (about $20 more). of course, the agent might have been blowing smoke up my kilt.
