The Valley rankings look terrible in that simulation. I would predict fewer teams in the 100s (1 or 2 up and 1-3 down). I would wager Bradley is considerably low, with Evansville and Drake considerably high.

Preseason polls mean absolutely nothing as far as I'm concerned. I would rather be ranked #1 at the end of the season than at the start of the season. That poll will change like crazy within the first couple weeks of the season.

Time for the ole' "polls are meaningless / polls have meaning" debate again, eh?

In a way you are correct. But it does show respect for the program and Gregg Marshall. That respect is a very good thing in a lot of ways. It tells our recruits, their parents, donors, Wichitans, and Kansans we are RELEVANT.

If anyone has a spare 10 minutes, you could probably find one of the old threads and save us all 3-4 days.

The polls are rigged. There are dead sports writers still voting for KU and Duke
