I think we may have our scholarship Senior leader identified. J.R. spent 3 years with Baker and VanVleet and he knows what those guys brought to practices and what they demanded of others in practices. I think the other players will listen if (when) he tells them what they need to do. It's easier for him to do that when he's a scholarhsip player.
I think J.R. will see some minutes during significant parts of games and probably some in crunch time. He knows how to run the offense. His passes are accurate and don't have a lot of arc. He can hit some buckets. He may have enough BBIQ to cover quicker guards when he's on D.The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.Comment

So do we think this scholarship presentation will lead to more minutes? Is this a nod to JR showing that he's gotten better and has earned more than mop up minutes? I hope so, because I think he's actually pretty smart with the ball. And like others have said, learning under FVV and Ron have probably done wonders.Comment
