I'm excited to see how much MM has changed this season, both from a physical aspect and skills, and believe our success this season is largely tied to his improvement. As for his leaving early for the NBA, time will tell. But I suspect he learned a lesson from Baker whose NBA stock actually went down his Senior year. So if Markis gets a lot of NBA scout love his Sophomore and Junior years, he'd be better served jumping at the opportunity when it presents itself. Not that I want to see him leave early, but he's not going to be a Shocker forever.

Or maybe he'll have a Buddy Hield type of career, stay all four years and improving each one, reaching the pinnacle his senior year. Either way, it's going to be fun seeing this cat ball for the next few years.

It's always difficult to "project" whether that final year is a positive or a detriment. In Baker's case, it put him in the position early of having to do it all himself as the "team" had not practiced without Fred. Do I recall correctly that Ron had some ankle issues as well? Those kinds of things can alter the anticipated result.

"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Baker took the 5 year plan and graduated at 23 years old. MM is not even 19 yet, will take the 4 yr. plan and graduate at 21. He will be young and not have to leave early. The NBA loves young, physically mature prospects. MM still needs to put on muscle and weight.

3G said Landry has been out for a couple of weeks with a concussion so it was more than just a little tap.

Not sure what's going on with Austin's shoulder. Sounds like there has been quite a few knicks and dings this fall plus some illness to boot. Hopefully, we getting a lot of that out of the way early.

like marshall would allow somebody 15 ppg with a low shooting %

if somebody avgs 15 ppg at wichita state these days it's a good thing.

This team has no MTXE whatsoever. If it's not one thing it's another with these guys getting hurt. If A.I. was observing this, he'd say, "we're talking about practice, not a game, but practice". I've got real concerns about the MTXE that will be shown on the court this year. Looks like Kerry needs to double his efforts and get these guys to increase their gains. I'm sorry I'm so mad, I just learned my WR Josh Gordon is not going to play this year and I'm kicking myself for taking a gamble by cutting Kelvin Benjamin in my Dynasty League and keeping Josh.

We haven't played a meaningful game yet with our full complement of players, but yeah. Let's just throw in the towel on the season. Good idea.
