Those downplaying his competition might keep in mind that all divisions play each other in AR. He's not beating up strictly on small schools. I think, not 100%, his 70+ point game came against one of the larger schools.
I could be totally wrong but he looks to have all the tools necessary, from a skills perspective, to be the next big thing here. It seems possible that national people will look at him in a couple years and say Marshall again proved himself to be a phenomenal judge of talent.

So he beat a larger division state title winner, something equivalent to beating Heights during the Perry years in terms of size/strength of team. But they weren't from the largest division.

Forrest City High School won the 5A division state title in 2014 and 2015 (the year Austin Reeves scored 70 against them). The largest schools are in the 7A division, and at a glance have enrollments around ~2,000.

Getting closer to real games, roster and injuries have shaken out a bit. My outlook is below.
Starters for the majority of the year:
Frankamp
Shamet
McDuffie
Kelly
Morris
I expect that Daishon will get more minutes at point than Conner.
Conner will play quite a bit of 2 as the primary back-up to Landry, but Landry will get a lot of minutes.
One of CJ or Austin will get more than 10 mpg. Brown will play some two if neither earns PT.
Markis will play some 4 and Zach, Markis, and Rashard will eat up 65+ minutes at the 3/4.
Shaq will play 15-20 minutes. Rauno and Darral will split the rest of the time in the post. Darral will get some time at the 4.
I think that's the 9 man rotation plus probably some Reaves mixed in.
This team is nice and deep. In order to have a very good year:
Shaq needs to stay on the court 20 mpg
A PG needs to run the team efficiently
Conner needs to hit 40%+ from deep
Markis needs to be first team MVC
The team needs to shoot 45%+ from the fieldLivin the dream

IMO HC3G will utilize the first five games of the season to evaluate the 12 scholarship players in real time basketball games; his starting lineup is likely to be:
1 - CF starts; with DS and AR sharing 25 minutes
2 - LS starts; with CF, AR and CJ sharing 15 minutes
3 - ZB starts; with MM and CJ sharing 15 minutes
4 - MM starts; with RK and DW sharing 25 minutes
5 - SM starts; with DW and RN sharing 20 minutes
When the MVC season opens I hope the starting lineup is -
1 - AR starts; with DS and CF sharing 15 minutes
2 - LS starts; with CF and CJ sharing 15 minutes
3 - ZB starts; with MM and CJ sharing 15 minutes
4 - MM starts; with RK and DW sharing 25 minutes
5 - SM starts; with DW and RN sharing 20 minutes
HG3G's target is for each scholarship player to average at least 10 minutes of play per game.
