Kunkel's job is to look pretty while he reads from the teleprompter and to not get himself caught up in stupid situations (that he created) that would cost ratings. For example, I was watching an episode of American Greed about the weatherman from Philly who got taken to the cleaners by bar girls in Miami. When his boss found out he was playing with pseudo-hookers while on vacation, he was summarily fired and told he would not work for another TV station again.
That's the kind of incident I'm talking about here. I could see Kunkel being taken for a ride by a bunch of Miami (or maybe even Chicago) hookers.
I would say it was someone up the food chain a little higher than Kunkel. I would bet he (Kunkel) has to ask permission to go to the bathroom.
That doesn't mean that your opinion is wrong, it is just that your opinion may, in this case, be misdirected. Whoever came up with the idea for this story (or approved it) is the person to whom you should be directing your anger towards,Last edited by shocka khan; August 14, 2016, 09:35 PM.

More thoughts on Marshall from just last year.

All I know is that HCGM came off as a complete ass in the heat of the moment and 30 minutes later it still had not occurred to him that he crossed a line.
I was in line to see the facial expressions (Bobby Knight like), etc and I can tell you everyone near me had a bad reaction.

No, I'm not suggesting further punishment right now. I am suggesting Gregg needs to watch himself. 1 or 2 more of these tirades and this starts to become a real problem.
With all due respect, Jamar, don't you think that Gregg's smart enough to have figured this out for himself already?
When you are at work, do you prefer to be micromanaged or do you prefer to make your own decisions within limits set by management?
I don't know about you, but only an oaf who isn't smart enough to figure out how to do their own work (after as many years as Marshall's done this) would want to work for someone who would tell them when they can go to the bathroom, when it's time for lunch and so forth (hint: I do not prefer to be micromanaged).
PS: While you may feel like you should be free to make suggestions (and many of us may agree with you), it's like raising your kids. You have to give them an opportunity to fail at times. You can't 'fix' everything for them.
