That's what we need. One of those Bad Lipreading videos.

You're right that there is only one person that could have stopped coach, but it is not Shaq. SM has been on the receiving end of HCGM's scorn way too many times during his Shocker career. So he's not about to get between the Gregg and the refs because he would prefer to avoid additional, unnecessary pain. The one person that could have stopped coach was sitting in the stands and her name is Lynn Marshall. I guess we will have to wait for eye witness accounts on what she was doing as the scene unfolded, but my guess is she was shaking her head and thinking that HCGM has been watching way too much rugby.

          • Anybody see where Jans was? I remember Okon, Smith, Heier, Linstead and Brown. Where was CJ? Did he even go?

Stickboy, entertaining?? More like laugh-out-loud hilarious! Here are just a couple of the better lines I've been reading over there:

'And that's what made him temporarily insane and violent against novice referees in another country where they must now undoubtedly consider Americans to be inherently, genetically, pathologically violent and crazy.'.

That's right, Shocker fans. Thanks to 3G, a Ramber fan now thinks all Canadians consider Americans to be genetically predisposed to violence!'

But it gets even better. This same Loyola genius states, and I quote:

'.... events on video actually makes me frightened for the future of the world-- no really.'

Wiping tears of laughter from my eyes. You just can't make this stuff up.....

My favorite was how they said the MVC could do without WSU because we just embarrassed the conference. The ironic part is that the most embarrassing thing to happen to the MVC recently is the fact that Creighton got replaced by Loyola and their 1,500 average attendance. Talk about embarrassing.

                • Some people get embarrassed too easily. To me, embarrassing is what WSU went through in the 90's and what most of the MVC teams are doing right now.

                    Dear Ramblers fans:

Of course you will say the MVC could do without WSU. That would be two to three less losses per year on your shitty record. Have a nice day.

Now now. In theory anyway, Loyola COULD win on Thursday and make it to Friday.

The MVC could most certainly do without Loyola, that's for damn sure.

Sorry this is a couple of days late, but I understand. Troll Valley John and his sidekick Doc did the exact same thing to me. Better not to chase parked cars. Just because someone's a troll doesn't mean they have the intelligence market cornered, it just means they're good at getting under your skin. When you quit letting those who troll you get under your skin, you can achieve inner peace :).

Just remember, ignore is your friend. You can ignore until things calm down or you can ignore them permanently. You will soon find that most of the people you consider to be trolls don't have many important thoughts (or even original ones).

As for me, I have been extremely busy and suspect I will remain so during the rest of my working career. I will always be a shocker fan, but I am focusing on thought-leadership opportunities in my profession, professional certifications and getting my house in order in case I get retired in the near future (one piece of good news is that there is a lot of consulting work out there for people who do what I do for a living, so I don't think I will be retiring soon), but I may need to make some quick decisions in the future and I need to prepare for that time.
